This incredible Baikal Teal was discovered by Gary Nunn on December 2nd, 2010 at the Gilbert Water Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona. If accepted, this seemingly wild Baikal Teal will be Arizona's first ever state record. I have never seen so many birders at one spot in Arizona, and the chase was certainly worth it for this bird. I took these photographs the following day of the discovery on December 3rd, 2010.
