I photographed this Sage Thrasher at the Phoenix Mountains Preserve on February 17th, 2010, when I was hiking with my friend Joe, who photographs wildlife in this park alot. He sees them here in winter months on a regular basis, and during our outing, I saw at least 3 of them.
