Map # 1: Accessing Rio Salado

Take I-17 south on Central Avenue for 0.3 miles to the parking area, which this is the best way to access this area.

Map # 2: The best birding at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area-accessed by Central Avenue

Map # 3:  Rio Salado Overlook with additional parking and access points.

Parking access to Rio Salado can be found on Central Avenue, as well as 7th Avenue and 7th Street.  Any of these places are suitable for parking, but the Central Avenue parking is far more recommended than anywhere else.  Take the I-17 exits to any of these three streets of your choice for birding.
