Jim Kopitzke and I observed this and many other Grasshopper Sparrows at the San Rafael Grasslands in Arizona on June 27th, 2010. This was my lifebird (photographed below), and after this bird, we heard them throughout our visit to the grasslands and got many more visuals perched on fencelines.
