Map # 1-Getting to the Rousseau Sod Farms

From the 101, take E Chapparal Rd 1.8 miles east to N Alma School Road.  Take N Alma School Road 1 mile north to McDonald Dr (which is the main road through the Sod Farms).  The Sod Farms have a width once driving on East McDonald Road for three miles, which often has good birding along the entire stretch.

Another way to access the Sod Farms would be to access N Mesa Dr. from Highway 87, and take Mesa Dr. 2 miles north to the farms.

Map # 2: Overlook of the route when going through the Rousseau Sod Farms

The main roads that go through the Sod Farms (which seem to be relatively unsigned if in the area) are shown here.  E McDonald Dr, which is the main access road through the area, is three miles long.  This illustrates the many routes and side roads that may be driven between the fields.  N Mesa Drive is also a good access road to the Farms.  There is Indian Land on the north side of the farms, be sure to stay away (which Indian Land is well indicated by signs).  Also respect workers in the area as well as a few housing developments.
